Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Located north of Nairobi, at the foothills of Mt. Kenya, Lewa offers an unforgettable combination of scenery and superb game-viewing. A catalyst for wildlife conservation, it is a safe refuge for the critically endangered black rhino as well as the endangered Grevy's zebra and also home to lion, giraffe, elephant and many other iconic Kenyan wildlife species.  Over 400 species of birds have been reported.

The Conservancy is known for its world-class anti-poaching operations, including cutting edge, world class monitoring technology.  As a result there have been zero poaching incidents in the area for six years.  By visiting here you will not only experience wildlife at its finest but your fees will also contribute to these valuable conservation efforts.
