Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park is the only wildlife park in the world situated inside a city.  Just four miles from the central business district, this 29,000 acre park is where over 100 different mammal species roam free, including lion, leopard, cheetah, black and white rhino, cape buffalo, and a variety of antelopes, among others.  To see one of these magnificent creatures with the cityscape in the background is truly breath-taking!  NNP is also a bird-lovers paradise, home to over 400 species.

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust sits just inside the park, best known for its work protecting elephants throughout Kenya.  On site are baby elephant orphans, hand-raised and later released into the wild.  If you "adopt" a baby elephant to help pay for its care, you can arrange a private showing to meet your adopted baby as it returns from inside the park, eager to savor its last bottle of milk of the day.
